A fine surprise recording we have here, coming from a 7 hours session with fellow field recordists Anil Bhoslé, Jakez Hubert and Alexandre Lesbats at Maison de La Radio. We roamed the halls of the massive building looking for whatever we could lay our microphones on and didn’t come back with empty hard drives. A massive derush session is ahead of us, I’ll post a few sounds when the cyber scissors have done their work.
Right now what we have is this lucky moment : we wanted a simple recording of an elevator ride from inside, so I randomly pressed the 11th floor button, and up we go… leading to these fine violin notes. Lovely timing. Radios are fun.
